Up2Give is out to get your money. It is the modern version of a cash gifting scheme, using Bitcoin as payment. Basically you pay to earn the right to receive payment from your referrals.

The vast majority of participants lose money in such schemes. It is unethical and illegal.

What is Up2Give

The domain of Up2Give.com was very newly registered on August 27, 2019. From my computer, its domain was flagged by my security software as very high risk.

There is no information provided on the website about the program or the founder.

An affiliate’s referral link is required for you to proceed further.

I am not its affiliate, but it is not difficult to find someone who is promoting Up2Give on the internet. Just enter that affiliate’s code if you are curious to see it for yourself.

I will be providing the rundown of the scheme here.

In gist, Up2Give is an illegal cash gifting scheme, except what exchanges hands is not hard cash, but digital money – Bitcoin.

In the name of crowdfunding, it makes unsuspecting people think that this is for some good cause, while allowing an earning opportunity at the same time.

The truth can’t be farther than that.

If it were something so altruistic, there is no need to be so secretive.

If the founder of the program has to hide from public eyes, there is probably something seriously wrong.

Who are behind Up2Give

A bit of probing around revealed Jerry Lopez and Andreas Kartrud to be the masterminds of Up2Give. This is Jerry Lopez:

Both have been involved in MLM companies, including some that deal with cryptocurrencies. So they are not new faces to people operating within their niche.

Now, let’s take a look at the details of the Up2Give gifting scheme, and how it works exactly.

How does Up2Give Work

Joining Up2Give

To join Up2Give, you start with a monthly fee of 0.005 Bitcoin (BTC), which works out to a cash equivalent of about $48.

This money is gifted to the person who referred you into the program.

2×1 feeder matrix

Now, you qualify to enter its 2×1 matrix, which has two positions under you to be filled by you personally recruiting two referrals.

Each of them will gift you 0.005 BTC per month. You then use this 0.01 BTC to fund your entrance into the 2×6 matrix.

2×6 matrix

The 2×6 matrix is an extension of the 2×1 matrix structure, extended 6 levels deep.

With you at the top of the structure, there are two positions under you at the first level. Each position branches into another two positions, giving a total of 4 positions at the second level and so on. At level 6, there will be 64 positions.

At level 1, you gift 0.01 BTC and receive 0.01 BTC from each of the 2 positions.

At level 2, you gift 0.01 BTC and receive 0.01 BTC from each of the 4 positions.

At level 3, you gift 0.02 BTC and receive 0.02 BTC from each of the 8 positions.

At level 4, you gift 0.05 BTC and receive 0.05 BTC from each of the 16 positions.

At level 5, you gift 0.25 BTC and receive 0.25 BTC from each of the 32 positions.

At level 6, you gift 1 BTC and receive 1 BTC from each of the 64 positions.

Currently, 1 BTC stands at US$8.8K.

Yes, you will definitely be filthy rich, if you ever get to level 6.

Though this looks very enticing, let me now explain why it may not be the best program for you.

Red Flags in Up2Give

1. Vast majority of participants lose money

The design of the structure is for most people to be losing money at any one time, though it makes you feel like you have little to lose.

You see, the upfront gifting of Bitcoin in order to join the program already has you losing money. Then you have to personally recruit two others (who will also lose money).

Using the Bitcoin they gift you, you then reinvest the entire sum to enter the 2×6 matrix.

Until now, you are still losing money, and your two referrals are losing money.

It may seem like you are earning from them, but in fact the money passes through your hands and go right into the system.

It’s sad to say, but most people get stuck at this level and are not able to progress further.

When you personally recruited two people into the scheme, you would have exhausted all the leads in your own circle of family and friends.

It wouldn’t be easy to convince even one person in your social circle to join this, because when you approach people who are not even looking for such opportunities in the first place, they will be skeptical. I would be, too.

2. No product

This is the other huge red flag of Up2Give.

There is nothing to buy or sell, except its membership, and buying into the matrices.

Effectively you are buying a hope to recoup your losses and more.

That is exactly why such schemes are illegal.

3. The only winners are the founders and their loyal followers

It is possible for some people to make a life-changing income by participating in such schemes like Up2Give.

These people are the advanced marketers who know how to get the offer to show up to a targeted audience who are looking to make some big bucks easily. They become the easy target.

That is why these expert marketers will follow the founders of such gifting schemes wherever they go. And they will use their lives to defend Up2Give.

While the regular member who has no means to market the ‘opportunity’ to a massive number of highly targeted leads is bound to lose.

The moment this program was launched, the sure winners are the founders and their ardent fans. Every new person who joins the scheme simply brings more money into their pockets. They will never lose.

The only risk they take is risking jail term.

The risk you take is losing all that hard-earned money to them.

To round up this article, let me recap and summarize the pros and cons, before I finally make my conclusion.

Pros of Up2Give

1. Possible to make money

I’d be very frank with you. If you belong to the group of people who are able to make money with Up2Give, it is very unlikely you’d be here reading this.

To achieve that, it requires a set of high-income skills. You need to put your offer in a strategic position such that it shows up to the people who are looking for whatever you are promoting.

Take my website as an example. The fact that you landed on here in your search for information about Up2Give shows that I am in that strategic position.

I could have promoted Up2Give by twisting this review into a positive one. And made tons of money from it. But I won’t do it. No amount of money can buy my integrity.

My point is, in the internet age, if you are trying to make money online, this is the kind of high income skill that you have to equip yourself with.

It is not difficult, but it takes a hand showing you the right path.

I have done it, so anybody can.

And I believe that once you acquire this skill, you will choose legitimate, great-quality products to promote (instead of Up2Give).

Cons of Up2Give

1. Majority lose money

Schemes designed to take your money are like that: they lure you in with potential earnings that anyone will find hard to resist.

What they will never tell you is this: you are buying the hope to make it big, which is very unlikely to come to fruition. The odds are stacked against you.

2. Unethical

When someone gets you to join Up2Give, you have to lose money in order for them to make money. And there is no product or service in return. It is just so wrong.

Is Up2Give Scam or Legit?

From the way I see it, Up2Give is a scam. It does no good for anyone except the bank accounts of its creators.

Similar schemes include Million Money, Newbies On Fire, Prosperity Income Network, Email Processing Homebiz, DoubleWay, Infinite Increasing Income, Too Damn Easy, FOMO5K, Press 1 Cash, Club Cash Fund, and Instant Cash Solution.

An Alternative

Everyone wants to be rich, but guess who will make it?

It’s a very natural thing, that’s just human nature. I mean, find me someone who doesn’t want to get rich fast, and with minimum effort.

I wasn’t spared of all the temptations on the internet, hopping from one shiny object to the next.

But when I realized those empty promises are only going to make other people rich, and not me, I stopped looking for shiny objects.

I found a dull-looking object, but I knew in my heart that is the real deal. And from then on, I have never looked back.

An honest, down-to-earth method that will get you there. It’s not going to be easy, but it will get you there.

Versus the fast and easy way to empty your pockets and get you nowhere.

Which would you choose?

I am now working full time from home, growing my internet business, and making an online income. I started from scratch with zero knowledge in this area. If I can do it, you can, too.

That’s almost $200 in just one single day. It’s nothing to boast about, though, as it’s just a small fraction of its full potential. I just wanted to show you the possibilities.
