What is GramFree? TRUTH Exposed

If you are wondering what is GramFree, you may have come across people promoting it on social media platforms.

This review is about the new website GramFree.net that claims to give you access to Gram technologies with incredible opportunities.

What exactly is the Gram, and how will it work to earn you money? Is it a legitimate and paying platform? How is it linked to Telegram?

GramFree Review

Many people are having their suspicions that this GPT (get-paid-to) site seems too good to be true, and I totally agree with them.

Let me walk you through all the red flags on the platform, so that you see it for what it really is – the wolf under sheepskin.

Without further ado, let’s dive right in now!

GramFree Review Summary

Scam / Legit? : SCAM

GramFree leverages the hype around Telegram’s new blockchain platform and native cryptocurrency called Grams. It supposedly allows you to earn through watching videos, getting referrals, making investments, lottery rolls, signing smart contracts, etc.

Since nobody can buy or sell Grams yet, and the Gram was intended as a medium of exchange on the TON ecosystem (which does not work on the https or http sites), this makes the GramFree.net platform highly suspicious.

It earns money by having members complete tasks, but it will not pay out. Furthermore, it can sell members’ contact details at a good price to third party advertisers and vendors.

What is GramFree

To find out what is GramFree, let us first take a look at its website:

gramfree home

GramFree.net claims to be built around the TON (Telegram Open Network) blockchain, using the Gram as the cryptocurrency medium of exchange.

Once inside the platform, it supposedly allows you to earn Grams as you watch videos, take part in lottery rolls, refer others onto the platform, sign smart contracts, etc.

The minimum payout is 500 Grams, which is very difficult to reach if you do not have a huge base of audience whom you can refer onto the platform.

Though this seems like any other GPT (get-paid-to) sites that allow you to earn by engaging in the various activities on the platform, the truth is more elusive than this.

The Biggest Red Flag

The biggest red flag on GramFree is exactly its biggest selling point – the very new and seemingly high-tech blockchain that it claims to be built around, the TON (Telegram Open Network).

As a matter of fact, even at the time of this writing, Telegram is still embroiled in legal issues with the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) over its TON blockchain and the Gram cryptocurrency that comes with it.

See also another very recent article dated April 10, 2020.

Moreover, for apps that use the TON ecosystem with the Gram as the medium of exchange, they will run on RLDP (Rogue Location Discovery Protocol) websites, not on the regular HTTP or HTTPS websites.

Hence my strong suspicion that GramFree.net is a fraudulent website. The Grams that you earn on the platform are worthless, as they cannot be exchanged for cash.

Other Red Flags in GramFree

1. Very new website

GramFree.net had its domain registered only in January 8, 2020.

gramfree domain

There is nothing wrong with being brand new per se, every website has to have a beginning.

What is wrong is that when the site was formed, the TON network and the Gram had not been officially launched. Even today (at the time of this writing), it is still embroiled in a legal struggle with the authorities.

2. You can only sign up with your Facebook or Google accounts

This simply means they get access to a lot more personal information than what you might have intended to reveal about yourself to a GPT site.

I do not feel comfortable with this.

3. Too little information provided about the company

Apart from a very simple Terms and Conditions page on the sign up page, there are no other legal pages or ‘About us’ information on GramFree.

We do not know who the people behind this website are.

There is no email address provided for contact should any issue arise.

Neither is there any company address or phone number.

4. ‘Latest news’ point to posts outside of the website

Even its ‘latest news’ section links to posts right outside of the GramFree.net platform.

gramfree latest news

In fact, the content of those posts certainly do not put GramFree in good light, as they detail the legal issues that the TON blockchain and Gram cryptocurrency are facing.

So I’m not exactly sure the creators of GramFree even know what they are doing here.

5. Lots of negative reviews from real users

There are enough negative reviews that are up and about, to be a cause for concern. Take a look at some of them:

I hope these help you to learn from the experience of others, so that hopefully you do not have to go through the pain and frustration yourself.

How GramFree Works

1. It makes you do work

As you go about completing the tasks on the platform, like watching videos and getting referrals to join with your link, GramFree is going to benefit from your actions.

They make money through the vendors that they work with for watching videos (some of them will be short advertisements). As more members join, more people are helping them earn money.

At the end of the day, you will get nothing because Gram cannot be converted into cash, and this is not even a legitimate TON blockchain ecosystem where you can use Gram in transactions.

2. Some tasks make you lose your Grams

As you use your Grams for the lottery rolls and spins, or even take part in any form of investment, you risk losing whatever you had accumulated on your earnings dashboard.

3. Your online safety could be at risk

What I dislike most about GramFree.net is how the signing up process can only be done through your Facebook or Google accounts.

I don’t feel safe doing this, as there is a chance that they may exploit your personal information. There are too many personal details and other accounts (linked to Google) at stake here.

Minimally, you can be quite sure they will sell your contact information to third party advertisers, in a list that is considered ‘highly targeted’ for the make money niche. The act of signing up onto the platform shows your keen interest in making money online.

Hence be prepared to receive unsolicited emails in your inbox, selling you the secret formula to instant earnings, or the done-for-you website that can make you the first $1K within the next 48 hours, and other nonsense that we all know will never work.

(This article by TechWarn cautions people against this.)

To round up this article, let me recap and summarize the pros and cons, before I finally make my conclusion.

Pros of GramFree

There is not one single advantage that I can think of to engage on this platform. It will do you more harm than good. Steer clear of it.

Cons of GramFree

1. Your personal details are at risk

Besides the exasperation of receiving spam emails in your inbox, you would have to face the risk of more serious infringement of your privacy rights, especially since your Facebook or Google account will be linked to your GramFree account.

2. No financial advantage to you

At the end of the day, the Grams that you earn on the platform will be of no use to you, since this is not a legitimate TON ecosystem, and the Gram currently has no cash value.

Is GramFree Scam or Legit?

As far as I can tell, GramFree is not a good site to spend your time on, or even to place your hope on. It has too many dubious points, and has not been able to gain my trust at all.

Similar scams that pose as GPT sites that I have recently exposed include MoreCash, CloutOG, NextCash, KingsRansoms, GlobalRTX, PlentyBread, Paid2Share, CashForShare, CreateBucks, and InboxDollar, to name just a few.

An Alternative

I know you want to be rich. Believe me, I do too.

It’s a very natural thing, that’s just human nature. I mean, find me someone who doesn’t want to get rich fast, and with minimum effort.

I wasn’t spared of all the temptations on the internet, hopping from one shiny object to the next.

But when I realized those empty promises are only going to make other people rich, and not me, I stopped looking for shiny objects.

  1. GramFree is NOT a legit website, becuase it is not registered as a cryptocurrency, mean there is not guarantee that you will get your money.

    Final Verdict
As already discussed, GramFree is an entire scam, so now it is your responsibility to inform your friends about this because everyone is busy earning grams which has no result.

  2. it’s free to try. just create a throwaway fb/google account and register. only thing you’ll lose is time.

i haven’t reached minimal threshold so i dunno whether it pays or not but as i level up its getting harder to earn and the site often changes domain (freegram.world, freegram.top etc).

like some commenters have pointed out, it might be better to hold the judgment until you have all the facts

    • Hi Pepe,
My purpose is to offer my own opinion of this platform, so that my readers can avoid wasting their precious time.
By all means go ahead to try it if that’s what you want.

I just find it strange that the fact that they’re often changing domain names, as you’ve stated yourself, does not disturb you or cause you to be suspicious and more wary of them.

  3. Hi, I want to tell you my opinion about the project. Many say that the project pays. Many argue that the Scam project. I want to say that the project is excellent and I withdrew the money from it. The project pays and I checked it myself. And those who say that the project does not pay, simply did not try to earn money in it or violated the rules and the project did not pay them. I am very pleased with this project.Best project!

    • Hi Jane, thank you for sharing your experience with GramFree. It will be great if you had provided some payment proof. Negative reviews can be found on Trustpilot, Quora and many other places. It is hard for me to trust this site or anyone who simply comes here to say they have earned.

  4. Hello sir,
This is your option and don’t use it as proof of reality. Do you the website FreeBitco.in? Who is the owner. GramFree is working in the same way but more better than FreeBitco.in. If you don’t know good information about something it is good to be informed first. I use both FreeBitco.in & GramFree. I have withdrawal several times from them. What do you think about it?

    • Hi Aime,

It’s great that GramFree is working for you.

It doesn’t change my opinion of it, though. I can’t trust a platform that has so many points of suspicion, and more and more negative reviews from its users. I have updated the post to include screenshots of some users’ reviews that I found on Trustpilot. Do tread cautiously on this platform.

      Wish you all the best.

    • Hi, if you had used the same password for GramFree as your Facebook account or the gmail account, then I’d strongly suggest that you change up the password to those important accounts. Otherwise, just stay off the platform, as the more you engage with the tasks on the site, the higher the risk for your online security.

      Stay safe.

    • Hi Adil,

This is not the GramFree website.
This is my blog, where I write reviews on products and programs on the internet.
If you had read through my review, you would know I’d strongly urge you to stay away from it.

But if you still want to contact the team behind GramFree, you would have to get in touch with them directly, on their website.

      All the best to you.
