Before anything else, I want to make it explicit that I am not a distributor or member of Cili by Design, and I will not gain or lose anything whether you decide to purchase or join them or not.
In this honest and in-depth review of Cili by Design, we will take a look at their product line as well as the technology behind its delivery, followed by their compensation plan.
Hopefully at the end of this article, you will then be able to make a fully informed decision for yourself.

Cili by Design has top notch quality products in the CBD niche, coupled with a compensation plan that has a good balance on retail and recruitment commissions.
I believe it is possible to make a substantial income through retail commissions alone, especially if you hop on the wagon early. When you actually start earning, recruitment will come easy, and you can even train your team to get free online traffic to the business:

What is Cili by Design
A brief background of Cili by Design Founders
Cili by Design was founded in December 2018 by Brad and Marcia Hager, who have vast experience in the network marketing industry.
Prior to Cili by Design, Brad was not only the top distributor in multiple companies, he got involved in writing compensation plans, and designing some of the most successful training and marketing programs in the industry.
Marcia started doing network marketing in her early 20’s, and was already a co-owner of her own MLM company (not this one) at a young age of 28. She was actively involved in building up the company from a complete startup to a multi-million dollar entity.
With these strong pillars for Cili by Design, I believe the company is all set to grow.
Still, it is an MLM program at its core, which means that earnings tend to get passed upward quietly. The big advantage is its amazing products, for which competitors are nowhere near, as we will see in the next section.
Thus it is very possible to start earning with just retail commissions alone, if you have enough internet marketing expertise to attract customers who need these products.
Cili by Design Product Line
Its product range is small, but I think that’s rather neat, and helps keep its development and marketing efforts more focused.
1. Cili Swish
This is its flagship hemp oil mouth swish, for swishing in the mouth and holding under the tongue.
Its retail price is $79.95, and member price is $55.
With 36 servings per container, I would say its price is on the high side. I guess for many people it is still a worthy price to pay, for its technology that boasts of the purest, fastest and most bio-available hemp oil on the market, incorporated with whole herbs.
Apart from the Cili Swish, the remaining 4 products are all sprays, all priced at $25 retail, and $17 for members. Each container provides 30 servings.
2. Cili Boost
Orange zest flavoured, the key ingredients like gingko biloba, red ginseng and vitamin B6 enhances mental clarity and supplies a fast boost of natural energy.
3. Cili Sleep
Vitamin B6, L-Theanine, Valerian root and passion flower are some of the ingredients in this product that supports restful sleep by maintaining your daily sleep cycle.
4. Cili Serenity
This product helps to reduce stress and anxiety, boost your immune system, and support the nervous system.
5. Cili Relief
White willow bark and ginger extract, among other ingredients, help to relief pain, as well as calm inflammation.
Cili by Design Product Quality
CBD oil has been the rage these days, as its beneficial effects on so many different ailments have been felt by many.
CBD has not been legalized in my country yet, I’m just waiting for the day I am allowed to use it, as I believe it will be of immense help to my kids’ health conditions.
But I have seen friends from other countries improving by leaps and bounds from its usage. Not Cili by Design products in particular, but just CBD oil products.
Hence I have faith in how CBD oil can have a profound effect on our bodies. At the same time, we can also be sure unethical companies will sprout everywhere to capitalize on this craze.
Thus it is prudent to research any CBD oil product that you are going to put in your body. You don’t want to be paying for something that is not bio-available, or worse still, contains harmful substances.
With Cili by Design, I feel assured by the efforts of their product development, and am convinced by their aquaceutical nano technology, which brings the particle size of the CBD used in their products down to 7 nanometers.
This means they can penetrate cellular membrane, and become much more bio-available to be used by the cells.
I’m not the scientific expert here though, and am just taking Cili’s word for it.
If you are interested to promote Cili by Design, you will definitely have to try out their products first, and be absolutely convinced that they work for you, and you love them to bits.
With overpriced products as is usually the case for MLMs, if you do not have the passion and conviction for the brand that you stand for, people can tell, and it won’t be easy to convince them of the products or the business opportunity.

How to become a Cili by Design Distributor
To become a qualified distributor, you have to
– pay a membership fee of $39.95
– meet a minimum personal BV of 65 points every month.
The 65 BV can be met by simply purchasing 1 bottle of Cili Swish.
So although minimum monthly purchases is something I do not like of MLMs, in this case, spending $55 each month on Cili Swish is actually not too bad, especially if you have experienced its beneficial effects for yourself.
Still, this amount does add up. So do take the time to consider carefully about taking this on as a business opportunity, weighing this cost against your chances of making this profitable.
How to make money with Cili by Design
Just as with any network marketing business, there are two main ways to earn. Cili by Design’s official compensation plan actually broke it down into 10 ways to earn, but I’d rather keep it simple for you, presenting the main ideas and concepts.

Retail commission
When someone buys Cili by Design products off your replicate website as your customer, you make a 25% commission off the retail price.
At the start of your network marketing journey, it is only natural to approach family and friends first, to see whether they are interested to purchase the products as customers, or join you in the business opportunity.
Well, some may show their support by buying something, but generally you would be pushing expensive products to people who are not even actively looking for a solution to any health issue that would warrant a CBD oil product.
This should not be the way to market MLMs anymore. With the internet, if you do not leverage on it, you are doing a disservice to your business.
With Cili by Design, as its product quality is good, I believe there will be lots of people who really need it, or are willing to try it out, for their health purposes. They just may not be the people you know personally.
They could be doing their research online, for their issues like anxiety, painful joints, or chronic inflammation.
If you can show up to answer the questions they are asking on the search engines, and make recommendations, then you would have landed yourself some potential customers.
With sufficient sales volume, just the retail commission alone is going to make you a handsome income.

The compensation plan of Cili by Design also goes down another 3 levels in retail commission, which is something rarely seen in the industry.
When a member whom you personally referred into the company has a customer order on his or her website, you get to make a 10% commission. For the next two levels of members down the line, you earn 5% commission whenever a customer order is made.
This is another reason why I am surprisingly receptive towards Cili by Design as a company. If you know me, and hang around my website long enough, you would have noticed I do not usually speak well of MLM companies.
And Cili by Design is a welcome difference from the usual network marketing businesses.
Recruitment commission
I do not intend to go into the details for this aspect of the compensation plan, because as always, my simple brain can’t wrap itself around all those complicated numbers.
Suffice to know that the more people you bring into the MLM program, the higher the ranks you climb, and the more commissions and bonuses you get to earn, not just as an individual, but also as a team.
Why Cili by Design may possibly work for you
Recruitment should never be the focus of any MLM business, as it simply means the products are not in as high a demand as they should be.
Sadly, many MLMs use their reward structure to hook distributors into their program, exploiting them as it is in fact through their distributors that they earn their revenue.
They make distributors their customers.
As distributors are required to meet minimum monthly purchase requirements, MLMs create this artificial demand for their products, since there is no demand from the open market.
The good thing about Cili by Design is it shouldn’t be too daunting to find real customers for the CBD products, thus getting you the commissions, which you can show for recruiting people into the business, since you would have legitimately proven that it can be done.
Pros of Cili by Design
1. New company, market is not yet saturated
This is always advantageous for anyone looking to join a network marketing company.
As potential customers would more likely be hearing about it for the first time through you, your chances for success are higher.
2. Great products
The CBD oil industry is seeing throngs of new companies sprout everywhere to take a bite off the pie.
Cili by Design has its unique aquaceutical nano technology to give it the competitive edge over others in the same niche.
3. Compensation plan has a good focus on retail sales
It is rare to find such a compensation plan, where one gets rewarded for customer orders made 3 levels down your referred members. To me, this speaks of a company that is more generous in spreading its profits to its members, rather than greedily pocketing the bulk of it.
Cons of Cili by Design
1. Pricing is still rather high
Not everyone would be able to afford its range of products, thus your potential market would be limited by its income level.
2. Upfront investment
Its membership fee and minimum monthly purchase, though more affordable than many other MLMs, is still an upfront cost that you would have to fork out before you can start earning through the business.
3. Still an MLM at heart
Though you can choose not to recruit, that would also mean you will not be maximizing your earning potential in this network marketing opportunity.
Then you might as well be promoting and selling CBD products using a completely different business model.
The thing about recruiting is that despite plenty of effort on your part trying to get people to join your team, the recruitment commissions will be disproportionately low, until you climb up the ranks sufficiently, only then will you start to see meaningful residual income.
This is just how MLM compensation plans work.
When you have worked your way up to the echelons, you will then get to reap the fruits of your downlines’ labor.
Moreover, the retention rate of distributors in MLM companies is pathetically low, generally across the board in the industry. That makes it even more difficult for anyone to earn through recruitment commissions, if they cannot even keep their team intact.
According to this report found on the Federal Trade Commission’s website, 99% of MLM participants do not make a profit.
Is Cili by Design Scam or legit?
Cili by Design is definitely a legitimate MLM company that sells great CBD products, and has a compensation plan that has your interest at heart, more so than many other MLM companies.
Other MLMs that also sell CBD products include Emris, Hempworx and CTFO, to name just a few.
An Alternative
In my personal opinion, Cili by Design is a good opportunity if you like MLMs. But you definitely need to learn and apply some high-income internet marketing skills (if you have not already done so), to attract ready buyers onto your replicate website.
If you lack these internet marketing expertise, and are physically trying to get customers by approaching people around you, you will be met with so much rejection that it is easy to get disheartened, and give up before you see your first dollar.
Not to mention that this method is so time intensive.
However, if you know how to target the right people (plenty of them on the internet), and with the right technique, they will come looking for you instead.

I’m afraid there is no free trial, as Cili by Design runs on an MLM business model. To become their distributor, you have to pay for the membership fee, as well as meet the minimum monthly requirement.
However, you can definitely purchase their products as a customer first, to try them out for yourself, because to promote Cili which is priced on the high side, you have to be not just convinced about its quality, but passionate about how it can benefit your customers.
And with the right marketing strategies, this can possibly be a profitable venture.
