What is SoManyHits, this traffic monster? Why do they claim that you will begin to make sales even if you have the worst sales page in the history of the internet? How is that even possible?
Welcome to my SoManyHits review.
You may have seen people putting their referral links all over the internet, like on social media platforms, or forums, etc., promising you that this is a great way to get traffic to your offers, and hence make money.
In my opinion, this system will not likely get you the results you want. It is what the sales page of SoManyHits.com would have people believe, and these people are just trying to promote this to as many referrals as they can, possibly without understanding this program in enough depth.
Join me as I walk you through SoManyHits, by explaining how it works exactly, and pointing out all the red flags that I can uncover, so that you can make a better informed decision for yourself.
Without further ado, let’s dive right in now!
SoManyHits Review Summary
Product type: traffic generation system
Price: free to join, with paid membership option
Scam / Legit? : Legit
Recommended or not? : NOT recommended
So Many Hits is a traffic generation system which works on a 2-up referral program. It is not likely to gain you a targeted audience group, simply because your traffic line signed up to find their own traffic, not to receive your promotions.
This product also allows you to shorten the links of your own promotions, and attach keywords to track their performance, so that you can identify which campaigns work.
There will be pop up ads generated automatically on your website when you use these link shorteners.

What is SoManyHits
To find out what is SoManyHits, let us first take a look at its website.
These are the three key ingredients to the success of any business: a quality mailing list, lots of targeted traffic, and a way to easily measure your results.
It is so true that traffic is the bloodline of every business.
Without traffic, it really does not matter how fantastic the other aspects of a business are, it will simply not take off.
Now, let’s try to understand how So Many Hits tries to generate traffic for us, so you can decide if this is the best platform for you to find traffic to your business.
How does So Many Hits generate traffic
As a member of SoManyHits.com, when people join under you as your referrals, the first two referrals will go up to the person whom you joined under.
That is the meaning of the 2-up referral system.
From the third referral onward, each person will send their first two referrals up to you, who will in turn send their first two referrals up to you.
This sets off some sort of a chain reaction, so you get to quickly build your traffic lines, each traffic line having 15 people in it.
This is how it looks like in a schematic diagram:
It does not matter that anyone in the traffic line leaves the platform, the rest of the members in that traffic line remain intact.
This concept is sound, as long as you are able to continue getting referrals beyond the first two, then each direct referral you rope in will create a new traffic line.
It can work to build up traffic for you rather quickly, provided your referrals are also actively trying to get their own referrals.
But I do see a major flaw with this system, which I will discuss in one of the later sections, after I fully explain the other features in SoManyHits.
How SoManyHits builds your mailing list
On the platform of SoManyHits.com, you are able to message everyone in your traffic lines once every 10 days, with whatever you are promoting.
If you are already subscribed to your own email autoresponder, you can also export the email contacts of your traffic lines from SoManyHits, so this actually becomes your very own mailing list.
You can then run your email marketing campaigns with this list.
Again, there is a potentially big issue with this method, that I will discuss in a later section below.
One plus point is that everyone in your traffic lines will only be receiving your offers, and not from anyone else, so they would hopefully not get too annoyed by those promotional materials.
SoManyHits URL Shortening and Tracking System
I always thought SoManyHits is mainly a traffic generating system. But apparently they are selling themselves as primarily a URL shortening and tracking system, which feels rather weird.
Anyway, a URL shortening service is no big deal, there are so many platforms out there that can do this for you, all for free.
The purpose of shortening your URL that leads to your offers and promotions is so that they look nicer and more professional, instead of comprising of an ugly string of incoherent numbers and letters.
As it turns out, when I dwelled deeper into So Many Hits, I then understood the real purpose of the URL shortener and tracking system.
Basically, your campaigns within SoManyHits (those that you create using the URL shortener) will be rotated and placed onto your referrals’ websites or anywhere else that they are promoting their campaigns.
Your own campaigns will appear as a pop-up ad.
Although it sounds great, as you seem to be getting free advertisements placed everywhere, do remember that your own promotions will also display pop-up ads of your upline.
Personally, I do not like too many ads popping up all over the place when I am engaged on any website. A couple of pop-ups is fine, but too many makes the site feel really spammy, and will put me off.
Moreover, I have no idea what my upline is promoting. What if it does not align with my principles? I may not know my upline at all, and I wouldn’t have any control over what appears in those pop-up ads.
Paid membership of SoManyHits
The paid membership payment options include
– $27 for 60 days
– $57 for 180 days
– $97 for 1 year
– $147 for 2 years
– $327 for lifetime membership.
The membership provides real-time charts and detailed reports of the tracking data, as well as the ability to message your traffic lines every 60 hours.
There is also the income potential that comes along with it.
Earning potential of SoManyHits
When anyone in your traffic lines upgrade to a paid membership, if you are a free member, you will make a small commission ($4, $8, $12 or $20, depending on the payment option bought into by your referral).
If you are a paying member, then your commission goes up to $10, $20, $30 or $50, again depending on the payment option chosen by your referral who has decided to buy the paid membership.
Why I think SoManyHits will not work for you
If you are genuinely trying to find traffic to your website, or any promotions or offers, then I really think SoManyHits does not make the cut.
Here is why:
Think about why you signed up with So Many Hits in the first place. It is to get traffic to your own business, right?
So what do you think your traffic lines are interested in?
To generate traffic to their own offers? Or do you think they will be very eager to find out what you are promoting?
You see, this way of generating traffic does not get you a targeted audience at all.
Your traffic lines will simply not convert to become your customers.
And the fact that you will be getting your brand splashed all over your referrals’ websites or whatever promotions they are running, again is a bad thing for the image of your brand, because it irritates people more than it engages.
As for building up your own mailing list, do you think you will respond to the promotional emails sent to you by your upline? What are the chances that whatever he or she is promoting happens to be something you want to buy?
These are the main issues why I think SoManyHits will not work at the core of its existence: to generate traffic for you.
You may then ask, why are so many people promoting this platform then?
SoManyHits is alright as an earning opportunity
From what I can see, people are simply trying to make money off of its referral program. Even as free members, they get to potentially earn some commissions when their referrals upgrade to a paid membership.
Having many people promoting SoManyHits does not mean that it is a fantastic traffic generation system, working as it claims it would.
If you intend to use this to generate some income, I would say there is no harm giving it a go, since there is a free membership option.
Personally, I think the chances of anyone upgrading onto a paid membership is low, since I believe many people are just trying to see if they can earn out of it.
You can always try it for a while, and see how things go. If the earnings really do roll in (I’d be excited to hear about it, please drop a comment below), you can then consider upgrading your membership, to scale things up a notch.
How I get free targeted traffic to my business
My traffic is also free, but more critically for the thriving of my business, they are highly targeted.
I do not simply display my ads to just any random person. In fact, I do not run ads for my business at all, at least not even until today. I am very happy with my free source of targeted traffic.
Visitors who land on my website are looking exactly for the information that I provide, on the page that they land on.
For instance, the fact that you landed on this page shows that you were looking for information about SoManyHits.
Because my website shows up on the search engines, providing relevant and authentic information that meets the exact needs of my visitors, they engage with my content, and hopefully learn to trust me.
Some may sign up to subscribe to my email list, through the pop-ups on my own website. So you can be sure the relevance is much stronger than having a pop-up appear on some other unrelated website.
This way, I get to nurture a genuine relationship with my readers, who may then take up some of my recommendations, and that is how my online income is earned.
This source of traffic is called free organic traffic. It is the most precious, most sought-after, because of how highly targeted it is.
It is not easy, though. It comes only after you are willing to invest the time and hard work.
But once you gain the trust of the search engines, the traffic is unstoppable.
If traffic were as easy to get as what SoManyHits makes it sound like, then why would people pay a fortune in advertising, to get paid traffic to their businesses?
I choose not to fork out a single cent, and I did it with hard work.
Here’s a peek into my earnings on a recent day:
That’s almost $200 in just one single day. It’s nothing to boast about, though, as it’s just a small fraction of its full potential. I just wanted to show you the possibilities.
Check out this training platform that provides all the resources, tools, along with an entire community of aspiring as well as already successful online income earners.
All leveraging on free organic traffic.
The best part is, you get to start for free:
To round up this article, let me recap and summarise the pros and cons, before I finally make my conclusion.
Pros of SoManyHits
1. Free membership
The good thing is that there is a free membership option, so in that sense, you can try it out risk-free, to see if it works to achieve what you want out of it.
2. Potential to earn
There is potential to earn with its referral program, considering they offer commission when your referrals upgrade to a paid membership.
Nothing to lose to try it out if you want, though I am skeptical about people actually being willing to upgrade.
Cons of SoManyHits
1. Your traffic is not targeted
Your traffic lines are looking for traffic themselves, or simply trying to make some money out of the system.
It will be very difficult to find a targeted audience for your promotions through this platform.
2. People may report your email as spam
People who signed up to SoManyHits and become part of your traffic lines do not know you at all. So when they receive emails from you, they may get annoyed, as there is no trust nor relationship.
Worse still, they may mark your emails as spam, putting your business in a disadvantaged position.
3. Not good for business image to appear in random pop-up ads
As part of the traffic generation feature of SoManyHits, your campaigns will appear in other websites, or other people’s campaigns, in a bid to help you get more free traffic.
But because there is no relevance or contextual link, those ads would simply be ignored at best, or may leave a bad taste for your brand.
Is SoManyHits Scam or legit?
I will not call it a scam, because SoManyHits is capable of getting you traffic, except that it will not be targeted traffic at all (like Auto Traffic Machine, One Minute Traffic Machines, My Traffic Jacker, Traffic Trapper, etc.).
The proper way to generate traffic that is free and highly targeted is to have your own website first, if you do not have one yet.
Doing this allows you to work your way up the ranks in the search engines, so that you show up where people need you.
This ensures relevancy, coupled with being authentic and genuine in your interaction with your audience, which will earn you their trust.
I managed to go from zero to more than 1K in my mailing list, in a matter of 4 months.
All without spending a single cent, without incessant pop-ups (I do have just a couple of them), without spoiling my brand image.
Let me show you a training platform that I personally experienced, which played a pivotal role in the success of my business today.
