Does Insider Profit Groups Scam You?

Insider Profit Groups Review

Let me take a guess, you received some promotional material in your inbox, and are checking things out, to see if Insider Profit Groups scam is real?

Well, you’re definitely at the right place. Unlike all those raving reviews about it that you see out there, I have no association at all with this product. Those are by its affiliates, all trying to sell it to you and earn a commission, all fighting for a piece of the pie.

Here, you get my honest and unbiased view about it. Will it really make you $11K per month? Or will you be better off spending your time and money elsewhere?

In this article, I will provide an in-depth review of Inside Profit Groups, through the following sections:

Insider Profit Groups: Review Summary

Product: Insider Profit Groups

Creator: Unknown

Product type: FaceBook marketing through groups, affiliate marketing

Price: $9 + upsells

Scam / Legit? : Legit

Recommended or not? : Not recommended

Insider Profit Groups teaches you to set up your own FaceBook groups so that you can promote your own affiliate links to members of your groups, and make a commission when they buy the products through your links. This is a legitimate way to make money, but it will not work overnight. It takes time and lots of hard work to build up a following, and nurture a trusting relationship with your followers, such that they trust that your recommendations are for their good, and not simply to make money off them.

What is Insider Profit Groups

Information presented in sales video and landing page

First, the narrator (he doesn’t even give his name) spends quite a bit of time painting a very bleak picture of the world, I’m not sure I understand the strategy. Probably to sound like he has been down and out, so knows what his viewers are going through, and that brings him on the same side as everyone else watching the video.

Apparently, he learnt an advanced technique that allowed him to reverse engineer successful internet profit campaigns. It is known as ‘ethical wire tapping’, which uses specialised paid tools usually reserved for big Silicon Valley type companies that mine data. The result shocked him to the core. It’s so simple, it’s been under our noses all these while.

The method is completely free to implement, and uses a common feature on a website you already use everyday. It’s a little-known profit technique that pillages a $4.7 billion market: FaceBook Groups.

The first FaceBook group he launched has over 20,000 members, and he is making $1175 every single day, on autopilot. You can create as many groups as you want. No content creation, no technical skills required, you literally just follow the blueprint that has been refined to launch groups that will profit.

Just choose a topic, and start your profit group, reeling in hundreds of dollars each day in affiliate commissions.

You see, throughout the sales video, they do not let in on any details of how the method works, the only thing we know is it uses FaceBook groups. What’s more, the ingredients for targeting at newbies in the internet marketing space are all there: earn big money fast, with zero work (since it runs on autopilot).

So I do not feel very good about this product, from first impression. But still, to give it a fair review, we probe deeper to find out how it works exactly.

How Insider Profit Groups really works

Insider Profit Groups combines the business model of affiliate marketing with the strategy of using FaceBook groups. Both are totally legit, and can work but it takes time and lots of hard work, like anything else we want in life. There is no secret formula, no Silicon Valley type data mining technology that can make you $1K every single day. No. Such. Thing.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a neat and hassle-free business model to make money online. You promote other people’s products through your affiliate links. When people click through those links to buy the products, you make a commission from the owners of the products.

It’s win-win for everyone, but you must make sure whatever you recommend are great quality products, and not just something that earns you money. Because your name and reputation are at stake. If you intend to hang around on the internet space for the long term, you have to build trust and rapport with your audience.

When you are genuine in helping them, and want to add value to their lives, they will be your loyal followers forever. Break that trust, and your online business is gone.

FaceBook groups

FaceBook does not allow affiliate links in posts, whether in your own personal page, or in group pages on which are you a member. But if you set up your own FaceBook group, then you are allowed to place your affiliate links in there, to promote stuff to your followers.

This is a proven strategy for many successful internet marketers. But the word here is successful. To be influential enough to gather a following on your FaceBook group, you must first be successful. Otherwise it’s a futile effort, if nobody knows you, they are not going to trust you. So no one would want to join your group at all.

Then how did those people even start? Well, they all started off with their own website. Most of them do. A website is an online asset, that allows one to exert an influence and build an online presence. This forms the strong foundation for your online business. It allows you to build your own subscription list, of people who like the content that you put up.

Then when you set up a FaceBook group, you will naturally get a following, because from prior interaction, people have learnt that you are trustworthy and authentic in helping them out in the niche area that your website is about.

As you build up your FaceBook group, you have to continue to interact with your members, promptly answer their questions, engage in discussions, help people out wherever possible, so that they respect you as the authority in the niche, and will buy in when you promote stuff to them.

These are humans you are trying to sell things to, you cannot simply send in a robot to chat with them on your FaceBook group and expect people to instantly love you to bits.

What Insider Profit Groups teaches is legit, but the results they want you to believe are not realistic at all. Without any online presence, why would 20,000 members suddenly join your group? People join groups to interact, ask questions, learn things, and gain value from it. They do not join a group to immediately start buying things from the owner of the group.

How I earn from affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing, in my opinion, is the BEST way to make money online. Because it is hassle-free, you do not have to own any product, deal with inventory or delivery, handle complaints or refunds.

You simply select great products in your niche to promote, and earn a commission when people take up your recommendation.

To start, you should focus on building a solid foundation, instead of putting all your effort into FaceBook, as it will likely get wasted.

With your own website, whatever you build on it stays there, and adds on to what you had created before. It is like buying a plot of land to build your own skyscraper.

While on FaceBook, it’s very different. Firstly, you do not own FaceBook, and you know how it is… Anything can happen that is not within your control. Whatever you painstakingly built up can disappear without reason one day. What if FaceBook decides to abolish all groups? What if for some reason FaceBook bans you? Then there goes all your hard work, down the drain.

With my own website, I can work it such that I get tons of free traffic driven to my site, by the search engines. There is no secret to this, only hard work: build up content. That is how successful internet marketers all started, by building content on their website. Even successful FaceBook marketers, YouTubers, Pinterest influencers, they have one thing in common: a website with solid content.

Nobody struck gold by setting up a FaceBook group and putting some affiliate links in there, without first interacting in an authentic way with an audience and taking the time and patience to build up trust.

Pros of Insider Profit Groups

1. 30 day money back guarantee

This basic refund policy is in place, for people who are dissatisfied with the product.

2. There is some value in the training

Nothing that you can’t find for free on the internet, actually, but it is some legitimate training, I can’t deny that. The method taught is a proper one too, except that it should not be your first priority if you are just starting out trying to make money online.

Cons of Insider Profit Groups

1. Only works for established internet marketers

Setting up your own FaceBook group definitely is not for newbies, it will be a total waste of time. It can work for established internet marketers, who already have an online presence, have their own email subscription list that they can publish the announcement of their newly set up FaceBook group to.

2. Not minimum effort like what it is made to sound

If you are in any FaceBook group, you will know how much work it takes to run one. The owner of the group has to be constantly hanging around, answering questions and adding value, moderating any conflicts and undesirable behaviour on there, and establishing ground rules for everyone to follow.

Once in a while, the group owner may put up some offer recommending a great product, and you can expect people to respond positively to it, if the trust has been established.

That is how a FaceBook group can work to your advantage in your online business.

3. FaceBook is not yours to own

No matter how hard you work on your FaceBook group, you do not own it, and you have no control over what may happen in the future. If FaceBook says no more affiliate links even in your own groups, will you still continue to run them?

4. Upsells

Like any other product that is out to make money for its owner, Insider Profit Groups has its pricey upsells. The low cost of the front end product is usually a bait, that lures you into their sales funnel, which will try to promote much more expensive items aggressively.

Upsell 1: $197 – Platinum group, increase your profits by 23 times

Upsell 2: $147 – Crypto millionaires calendar

Upsell 3: $97 – Diamond profit booster

Is Insider Profit Groups Scam or legit?

Because the real owner does not show up, I tend to want to call Insider Profit Groups scam, since there is no one to take responsibility for it. But considering the method taught is not some unorthodox way to earn money, I would reluctantly call it a legitimate product.

Recommendation

I do not recommend Insider Profit Groups. It will not add value to your money making efforts, just like these other products that I have reviewed before, to name just a few: Silk Road Effect, WP Affiliate Machine, and Viral Traffic Builder.

If you really want to make some serious money online, start on a good footing, by building your own website. It gives you the freedom to work in any niche you are passionate about, and it can be anything under the sun.

When you build up content and is seen as the authority in the niche, search engines will reward you by driving free organic traffic to your site. These people will be highly likely to take up your recommendations and buy those products you promote, because what they are looking for and what you serve up to them are a perfect match.

Free organic traffic, once you get it, is unstoppable. And that is how a passive income stream can actually be built up from your website.

Take the first step now, try out this awesome training platform for free, and get 2 free websites, along with 10 free lessons, which will allow you to see how incredible it is.
