Clout Bonus is a huge scam. They lure people in with promises of big earnings, just so that they can harvest members’ data for selling to third party advertisers. Blatant lies splashed all over its website warn us about the malicious characters lurking behind its facade.

What is CloutBonus.com

To find out what is CloutBonus.com, let us first take a look at its website:

At first glance, I knew something wasn’t quite right, as it is promising the moon. It will never be able to deliver $25 bonus for every sign up.

Neither can it pay up $10 to $15 per referral.

It claims to connect influencers (that’s you) to advertisers. This means companies pay them to advertise on their platform, which has a large audience base since everyone is referring more people to it.

In principle it can work.

But no advertiser is going to pay them even close to what they want to pay you.

Clout Bonus will go bankrupt in no time at all if it keeps its word. Thus, from my experience reviewing hundreds of platforms and online products, I could tell right away that this website is up to no good.

Do not take my word for it, I will show you the concrete proof.

Red Flags in CloutBonus

Contact email does not exist

This is a big alarm bell.

Using the contact email provided at the bottom of their home page, I did a simple check, and this turned up:

This cannot be anything good.

If you are not able to contact them, how are you going to sort out any issue that arises due to payment?

It looks like they never had any intention of keeping in touch with their members, right from the onset.

Social media links do not work

Those social media links, also found at the bottom of their home page, bring you to the respective home pages of the social media networks, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

And not to the specific social media accounts of Clout Bonus.

This means it does not have any social media accounts at all, they do not exist.

How is this possible, for the #1 influencer network? Unless the entire website is a huge scam.

Fake statistics

CloutBonus.com claims to have been in business for 10 years, having paid out $68 million to members. That’s rather impressive, if it were true.

Again, a quick check revealed that their website domain was newly registered on November 9, 2019. That’s about a month and a half ago, from the time of this writing.

This is blatantly betraying the trust of its members.

Fake Executive Team

Do not be fooled by how professional their executive team looks.

You would think these big names behind a multi-million dollar company would be openly sharing their social media profiles.

But, no.

When you click on those social media buttons, you will still be on that very same page.

It’s all about deception, there is nothing else to this platform.

Fake payment proof

I would think a $150K payment proof is too much. Why in the world would they use such an unrealistic figure, it really baffles me.

The date of this payment is before Clout Bonus even came into existence.

Video testimonials are part of tasks required to cash out

The video testimonials, though real-looking, are in fact created by victims of this scam.

Before you are allowed to cash out your earnings, this is one of the tasks you need to complete – create and upload a Youtube video that promotes CloutBonus.com.

Hence you will see numerous videos around of the same nature. But if you pay closer attention, you will realize that none of them are showing any payment proof by Clout Bonus.

All the people are claiming is that this is such a good and easy earning opportunity, and stuff like that.

Parent company does not exist

The parent company of Clout Bonus is supposedly one called Zindex, according to their FAQ page.

A very simple search will confirm that there is no such company.

It’s all blatant lies.

I think you would have seen enough. There are other countless discrepancies that I could point out, but I think I wouldn’t let this scam website waste anymore of our time.

What CloutBonus Does Exactly

So what does Clout Bonus want from you, if it is free to join, so you are not losing any money?

Well, scams these days take on many forms.

They do not have to get money from you directly. But they can make use of you to make money for them.

Data harvesting

You see, when you sign up for CloutBonus.com with your name and email address, you are already giving them what they want.

With these information, they will then sell their list to third party advertisers, who may be equally unethical, and hungry for a target audience that is trying to make money online, because they believe it is an easy group to sell useless junk to.

So if you have already signed up to Clout Bonus, be prepared to receive lots of spam in your email inbox, selling some done-for-you system that will earn you your first $5K within the next 30 days.

You get the idea.

Though it may not seem like a big thing, the issue is integrity. They take your data and turn around to sell it, when you thought all you did was to sign up as Clout Bonus’ member.

Tasks and offers may put you in harm’s way

When you try to complete the tasks on CloutBonus.com, you never know what will happen, seeing how unethical these people can be.

One possibility is that as you click on some links, you might land on some dubious websites, like online casinos, or unregulated health products sites.

Another possibility is that the vendor whom Clout Bonus works with may try to get even more personal data from you, like phone number, home address, or even payment information, through free trials and such offers that they try to get you to further sign up for.

Worse still, you may get malware or viruses installed on your device as you go about engaging in the activities on shady platforms.

To round up this article, let me recap and summarize the pros and cons, before I finally make my conclusion.

Pros of CloutBonus

There is zero plus point to CloutBonus.com. It will do you more harm than good, like so many other scams that are sprouting all over the internet these days. Some recent ones include Money Genie, LiteBucks, Cash4Clickz, Influencers Earn, and Vpo Money, to name just a few.

Cons of CloutBonus

1. They sell your data behind your back

Though it may be just a minor irritation to receive unsolicited offers in your email inbox, it is still a betrayal of the trust for Clout Bonus you had when you signed up with them.

2. Online safety risk

You do not know what kind of online security and safety risks you may be getting into when you try to complete the tasks and offers on there. Malware, shady websites, stealing of more personal details, etc. Anything is possible.

3. No one is getting paid by it

Even as you do tasks that seem legitimate, Clout Bonus will get paid by the vendors, but they will never pay you, because they can never afford those rates stated on their website.

Similarly, even when you put in a lot of time and effort trying to get more referrals to sign up, they will never be able to pay you $10 per referral. This simply means there never was any intention to pay out at all.

You will not find a single genuine payment proof around.

Is CloutBonus.com Scam or Legit?

Clout Bonus is a scam, through and through. Please stay as far away from it as you possibly can, and do not refer people to it, as they are using your hands to do the dirty work for them.
