I had the same question as you, so I set out to find out more about what it offers as a flexible home-based job, not expecting to uncover the huge scam that it actually is.

UBA Tracers claims offer a home-based job where you look for and process unclaimed bank balances and assets, and get paid 10% of what you uncover.

It is a complete scam, cheating you of your money when you purchase their mandatory processing forms. You will never get a single thing in your inbox after sending through the money.

What is UBA Tracers

To find out what is UBA Tracers, let us first take a look at their home page.

Their website looks really professional, and gave me good vibes as a first impression.

How UBA Tracers Works (according to them)

How this supposedly works is that there is a huge industry out there of unclaimed balances in bank accounts, and other financial assets.

UBA Tracers get independent homeworkers (that’s you) to search and locate these unclaimed balances of $250 or more, from the government and banks.

Once something is found, the company makes contact with the owners who may not even be aware of such frozen assets.

A deal is then negotiated for a small brokers fee, to represent these owners and help them get their assets released.

The first sign that something is wrong

It sounds like a really legit and professional service, but my antenna that helps me ‘sniff’ out scams went right up when I learnt that you will get paid 10% of whatever value of the assets that you are helping the owner to claim.

To me, this amount does not make sense. It sounds too lucrative.

So, imagine you found an account with $100,000. Doesn’t that mean you will have $10,000 just fall from the sky like that?

If you were the owner of the account with $100K, would you agree to pay $10K as broker fee?

In fact, it would be much higher than 10%, considering this is only your portion of the earnings.

UBA Tracers would have to keep some earnings for themselves too. Does it mean the owner has to lose 20% of his assets to brokers?

With this nagging suspicion, I snooped around some more on their website. True enough, I uncovered more lies.

They lie about years in service

In the screenshot of their home page that I placed above, notice the text boxed up in red.

For years, they have been in this line of unclaimed money and assets recovery for their clients.

Well, it is easy to ascertain this fact.

Take a look at when their domain was registered.

This is a brand new site, set up a month ago, in August 2019, fresh from the oven to scam unsuspecting visitors.

The internet did not just appear. If they had been in service for many years, they would have established a website, surely, instead of waiting until now.

There is something seriously wrong, when a company has to lie about its years in existence, just to mislead people for a false sense of credibility.

Leaderboard is not real

Take a look at this picture in the leaderboard.

This is not a real member making lots of money processing those unclaimed accounts. A search of the picture shows us that the same picture has been used in promotions of other products, like cryptocurrencies, and other work at home opportunities.

Fake news

UBA Tracers makes their news page appear as though they had been featured in all these major news channels, when the reality is this can’t be farther from the truth.

All those video clips of news reports do talk about money and assets recovery, but they are all done in very general terms.

Nowhere has UBA Tracers been mentioned as a reliable company that is helping others in this area.

So do not be taken in by their attempts at deceiving their readers.

Fake email address

In their FAQ page, they provided an email address to contact should you have any other queries not addressed through the questions on that page.

Guess what, that email address is fake.

Well, I never.

Does it mean they never intended for you to get in touch with them right from the onset? What if you had any problem receiving stuff from them after making the payments for those processing forms?

Talking about those forms, that is where the SCAM lies.

The scam is in the UBA Tracers Processing Forms

Behind the convincing plot, this is where the story gets very dark.

To process the unclaimed accounts that you had found, you supposedly have to use UBA Tracers’ processing forms, which come at a fee of $5 per form.

But they do not sell one form at a time. The minimum number of forms you have to purchase is 4. That makes it $20.

The more forms you buy, the unit price will go down lower.

For instance, if you buy 10 forms, instead of paying $50, you only pay $40.

This is where it smells really fishy.

Since the minimum amount you get to earn is $25, which is 10% of a $250 unclaimed account, which is what is available for you to search in their system, then why do they not just deduct the $5 cost of the form from your earnings?

They could easily just pay you $20, instead of $25.

Doesn’t that save the hassle of all the to and fro transactions?

In cases like this, where you are required to fork out a fee, when the company could have easily deducted it from your earnings, you should be very suspicious.

Hence I find this business too dubious, and cannot recommend it to anyone at all.

To round up this article, let me recap and summarise the pros and cons, before I finally make my conclusion.

Pros of UBA Tracers

There is not a single plus point that I can think of for this UBA Tracers, as it is going to be a complete waste of your time and money. It will do you more harm than good, and take your hard-earned money.

Cons of UBA Tracers

1. Waste of your time

It will be a waste of your time, learning how it works, and looking for unclaimed accounts in their system, only to not get paid at all.

2. You will not get your processing forms

After your money has gone through, you will not be receiving a single piece of processing form.

3. People whom you refer will lose their trust for you

They have a referral program, though how much you can earn from it is not clear at the time of this writing, because it seems they are still building up the link to the page for their referral program.

Is UBA Tracers Scam or legit? 

UBA Tracers has a strong recipe for a scam. In my opinion, it is a scam. Be warned, and try it at your own risk if you really want to.

It is going to do you more harm than good, pretty much like these other scams that I had uncovered: MoneyChaser.co, TheBucks.Club, CashOG, and PayCate.com, to name just a few.

The proper way to make money from home
