Recommended or not? : NOT recommended

Digital Income System is a very new program, launched in April 2019. It is basically a high ticket affiliate program, akin to an MLM scheme that focuses on recruiting new members in order to earn commissions. The higher your membership level, the greater your earnings potential.

There is training, tools and resources, as well as leads that the company will provide to its members. Essentially you get a done-for-you marketing system, that promotes the program itself, with no product of retail value.

Such schemes are high cost and risky, with majority of members losing money. When recruitment reaches a plateau, it is very likely that the entire structure will collapse.

If you would rather seek out a more down-to-earth way of making money online that does not involve recruiting people, check out my #1 recommendation:

What is Digital Income System

Currently, the home page of Digital Income System is simply a log in page for its members.

Then how do non-members get to learn about this program if they are considering joining it? Well, they would have to go through a landing page set up by any Digital Income System member. This is an example of how one of the landing pages look like:

digital income system landing page

By doing this, Digital Income System is protecting its members in a way, such that whoever tries to join the program has to register through somebody, so that their members get to earn the commissions, instead of 100% of the profits going to the company.

Membership levels in Digital Income System

There are 5 levels of membership in this program:

Entrepreneur – $1,000 (earn $500 commission)
Director – $3,000 (earn $1,500 commission)
Professional – $5,000 (earn $2,500 commission)
Ambassador – $12,000 (earn $6,000 commission)
Executive – $25,000 (earn $12,500 commission)

How it works to earn commissions with Digital Income System

Being a high ticket program, it means that you have to be at the same level (at least) as those referrals who purchase a membership under you, in order to maximise your earnings.

For instance, say you buy in at the Director level, by paying $3,000. If your referral buys the entrepreneur or director level, you earn exactly 50% of what they pay.

But if a referral decides to join at the professional level, you only make $1,500 which is the maximum you are entitled to, at Director level. The remaining $1,000 in commission goes to your upline (the person whom you signed up under), or his upline, whoever is the next in line that has the Professional membership.

This is how this high ticket program works. So your sponsor will always try to persuade you to go for the highest membership level, in order not to miss out on any commissions.

But $25K is a HUGE cost, not many people will be able to afford it. Even $1K is not something that I would fork out easily, knowing how high risk this kind of ‘investment’ is. I will explain more about this in a later section.

What you get out of the various membership levels of Digital Income System

This program provides a done-for-you marketing system, complete with its traffic that gets rotated to members. The higher your membership level, the more traffic you will get.

There are tools in the members’ back office that you can use, like email blast to your own list (if you have any), email autoresponder with promotional emails already written and sequenced for you, SMS blast (to your own list), SMS autoresponder (also pre-written messages that you can use), as well as tracking and analytics tools.

The types of paid traffic taught in Digital Income System include Solo Ads from Udimi (which is about buying other people’s email lists to launch your marketing campaigns), postcard marketing, media ads buying, and SMS leads.

Why done for you systems and traffic are no good

Although it seems like a very attractive system, to have everything done for you, including all the promotional campaigns and traffic leads, with my own experience in internet marketing, I think it is a bad idea.

Firstly, anything that is done for you means you are totally dependent on this system. There is no value added to your own learning and development. Should the company shut down, you are left none the wiser, and may start searching for unreliable opportunities like this again.

With traffic provided to you in the package, you have no control over the traffic source, and how they are rotated among members of Digital Income System. What if they had already seen the exact same marketing emails, then they would see yours as spam.

Moreover, there is no reason for this traffic to trust you, since you have not interacted with them or nurtured the relationship, but simply try to throw them such expensive deals at the onset. They will not respond, because they do not know you at all. And very likely they weren’t even looking for something like Digital Income System.

Most people in such high ticket programs end up losing money

Believe me, it will be an uphill task trying to sell such an expensive membership to anyone. Even the lowest level is exorbitant, at $1K. You can’t just approach family or friends, or anyone down the street to try to sell this to them.

Yes, there will be people who will profit from this: the owners of this company, that’s for sure. They will be the ones reaping huge returns.

And then there are those experienced and eloquent marketers, who have the background and know their way around internet marketing, to reach the masses, nurture a trusting relationship, before selling this program to them. Out of 1,000 audience that already trust them, maybe 1 person will buy in, if they are lucky.

Hence if you do not have a marketing edge over the rest of the members, it would be extremely hard to recoup your initial investment from this.

Such schemes are exploitative in nature

This is my personal view: when you try to recruit anyone into a program like Digital Income System, the sole purpose is to try and profit from it, or rather, to minimise your own losses. And not because there is some product that will actually add value to those people.

The major drawback is the huge initial investment. In essence, you are digging a hole for yourself, that you will have to try extremely hard to get out of. While those higher up in the scheme and the owners simply wait to collect money.

It is not a good position to be in. If you are in need of money, or just wanting to make some money online, you should not agree to put yourself in a much more vulnerable position than before you joined Digital Income System, simply for the hope of making it big. Because ultimately you are helping to build other people’s dreams.

The proper way to make money online

There will always be hyped up products that promise you huge earnings, but when you look beyond the hype, the whole scheme is basically created to work for its owners.

I guess everyone starts off wanting to make it rich fast. It’s a very natural thing, that’s just human nature. I wasn’t spared of all the temptations on the internet myself.

But when I realised those empty promises are only going to make other people rich, and not me, I stopped looking for shiny objects.

I found a dull-looking object, but I knew in my heart that is the real deal. From then on, I have never looked back, after I recognised that I have to be the one building up my own dreams.

I am now working full time from home, growing my internet business, and making an online income. I started from scratch with zero knowledge in this area. If I can do it, you can, too.

Here’s a peek into my earnings on a recent day:

As you can see, more than $100 a day is very do-able. And this is not even at its maximum potential yet, I’m still growing this business every single day.

Pros of Digital Income System

1. You can possibly earn from it if you are an advanced internet marketer

If you have already honed your internet marketing skills over the years, and are earning a good online income, with some excess money to spare, then I do not see the harm in trying it out, as you will know how to reach out to the masses.

Cons of Digital Income System

1. Too expensive

Even its lowest level of membership is still priced over the top, considering there is no tangible product that will add value to you, since everything you get is done-for-you, including all the marketing tools and traffic.

2. Empty program

It is a program that provides you the tools to sell itself. So I can’t say there is any value to it, because when this collapses on itself, you would have nothing.

3. Exploitative in nature

People get sucked into the program through aggressive selling, hanging on to the hope that they will be able to profit from this opportunity, without most of them realising that they are stepping into a deep pit that they would have problem getting out of.

Is Digital Income System a Scam or not?

I’m on the borderline of calling it not legit, because if you are well-versed in internet marketing, it is still possible to profit from it, albeit at the expense of those who do not know better. So I will leave it up to you, to decide if Digital Income System is a scam or not.

On the other hand, if you are simply relying on their marketing tools and traffic to hope to recoup your losses, then it’s a BIG no-no. It will likely do more harm than good, just like some other products I have reviewed, like Cents for Freedom, Prosperity Income Network, OPM Wealth, Six Figure Empire, Newbies On Fire, and Done 4 You Business, to name just a few.

  1. I regretfully got involved with this over a month ago. I was convinced by the success stories I was seeing online. I gave my best effort with advertising, lots of optins, and ZERO sales. Gave it nearly a month with this before deciding to give up and move on from this. It seems like the big marketers promoting this are the ones making all the money.

    • Hi Jon,
I’m sorry about your experience with Digital Income System.
What you say is very true. The very experienced marketers, who have the financial means, as well as the skills and knowledge to get targeted paid traffic to their landing pages will profit out of this. But imagine all those people buying through them… most do not have the resources and know-how to profit from this.

So to me, this is an exploitative product that lures people with huge commissions, but is in fact making these people fork out the big bucks to the company.

  2. Well is very sad but very true that all these scamers use these programs to BOMBARD
    us with e mails,texts, phone calls,messages,post cards,letters etc etc using ” ACTORS’
giving false testimonies all saying that they were as desperate as we are and that we
should join them. The last time they clean me up with $3,500.00 was “THE HAPPY TRUCK’ so convincing that I felt for it and now I am still PAYING my debt to repay back
that money back. All these scams ae copies of others doing the same thing just with different levels of joining but ALL ARE THE SAME . BEWARE !

    • Hi Alex,
I’m very sorry that you are going through this. Really appreciate you dropping your comment here to warn others about such aggressive selling tactics. If a program were legit and adds value, they will not have to hard-sell it like that.
I’m sure your comment will help others in their decision-making.

      All the best to you.

  3. OF course Digital Income System is a scam. Using BOILER ROOMS to suck innocent people into these programs is the quickest way to bring FTC to their door. They are preying on innocent desperate people and they are even allowing these people to FINANCE.. HOLY COW! These are the bad guys in this industry. So everytime you see one of their marketers in this program with that BIG SMILE on their face on all their youtube videos, know these are VERY BAD PEOPLE. This is simply another Digital Altitude program and we all know what happened to them. 🙁 They will give this industry ANOTHER black eye and when the REFUNDS come pouring in like crazy, this is going to be one messed up legal situation from all that financing junk they pulled on these innocent people.

    • Hi Randy,

Thank you for your intriguing question. I have to admit, I do not have an Associate’s Degree in Private Investigation, neither have I studied Criminal Justice like you have. That does not stop me from being able to see through programs and products that are not good for the people they are selling to, and wanting to help innocent people see that there is no such thing as a free lunch in this world, which is the exact human weakness that scammers are targeting.

I do not claim to be any sort of professional scam buster, but I have the experience of having reviewed hundreds of products at this time of writing. Everything I write has been through hours of thorough research, consolidated as my honest opinion, driven by the passion to help my readers make better-informed decisions for themselves.

I hope this has answered your question.
